We would like to congratulate our Comrades who today are being sworn into the legislative assembly of Kerala, India.
The Left Democratic Front has 99 members of the 140 member assembly, led by the Communist Party of India (Marxist) and Comrade Pinarayi Vijayan, who has been re-elected for his second consecutive term, the first time that this has happened in the contemporary history of Kerala.
Vijayan is the current chief minister of Kerala and a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of India (Marxist).
