Communists call for ‘major turnout at protest’ on 26 June

Communist Party members and supporters in London, the Home Counties and the South East are being asked to help mobilise for the major protest against government austerity and post-Covid plans, at the demonstration called by the People’s Assembly Against Austerity for Saturday 26 June.

Members and supporters attending can JOIN THE RED BLOCK made up by CP and Young Communist League members. Volunteers are asked to gather by the Communist Party stall from 10:30am in Portland Place. Those marching in the block should assemble 11:30am. Nearest tube is Oxford Circus. For bus services see below *

MEMBERS CAN VOLUNTEER to help distribute the special edition of the Morning Star at assembly points throughout the demonstration. (In agreement with the Morning Star bulk copies can be had from the Communist Party stall in Portland Place outside BBC).

The march moves off 12 Noon from Portland Place. We march to Parliament Square. Bring your flags.
