Ahead of Easter weekend, the executive committee of the Young Communist League unanimously voted to change the name of the league to reflect the radical views of our comrade in the Vatican his Holiness Pope Francis.
The League’s 10 demands in the youth charter will be shortened to 7, to reflect the correct amount of sacraments required to enter the Kingdom of Heaven.
The upcoming summer camp at Edale will be replaced by a bus trip to Lourdes, with each member required to bring a Wolfe Tones or Daniel O’Donnell CD for the long journey. Members are also required to memorise at least five different Gregorian chants to bolster our joyous dedication to Jesus Christ our Lord.
